About Tom Meyer
Tom has a diverse background with the benefit of both agency and client-side experience. This gives Tom a unique perspective on the inter-workings of companies and the ability to develop creative solutions for optimal performance.
Tom began his career working at Carl’s Jr. in multiple positions from field marketing to system-wide promotions. He then spent 11 years working for two of the largest residential real estate companies; Coldwell Banker and Prudential Real Estate. At both companies, he developed national advertising campaigns, managed multi-million-dollar media calendars and creating assets for real estate agents and franchisees. Tom moved back into the fast-paced world of restaurant marketing as Director of Marketing at Del Taco. He directed the development of all calendar promotions, media buys for 46 DMAs, managed field marketing and created award winning kid’s meal programs for the 500-unit chain. Tom then shifted to the world of advertising agencies. There he led accounts including; KFC’s largest co-ops, Papa John’s, Qualcomm’s B2B program, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and Mimi’s Cafe, Ubquiti, and many others. He and his team were named the best local agency in the entire KFC system for two consecutive years and Tom was the first-ever, non-franchisee, to win the KFC Franchisee Association’s Shining Star Award. After moving to Colorado, Tom was the Vice President of Marketing for the Taco John’s chain where he introduced a new brand story, new ad campaign and a series of new products aimed at regaining positive sales and increased transactions. Tom gets his hands dirty, by digging into a problem and finding a business solution. Now heading up Mechanic LLC, Tom is looking to roll up his sleeves and fine-tune your marketing department, Private Equity firm or ad agency. |
